2023 Clouston & Co Nambucca Sauvignon Blanc

This is going to be your go-to Sauvignon Blanc for the Spring and Summer! Anyone drinking Kim Crawford needs to give this a try!
Nambucca is named after an early 20th century steam ship that transported goods for Clouston & Co. when the company was just a merchant in Marlborough, and now they are making fantastic estate-grown wines and this Sauvignon Blanc blew us away!

Kalfu Molu comes from the cool-climate Casablanca Valley of Chile, the perfect growing area for grapes like Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which is exactly what Kalfu specializes in! 
This Pinot Noir is exactly what we look for in a red wine as the weather warms up. Light-bodied with bright fruit and just a touch of spice in the finish.
This is a beautiful bottle of Pinot, and it can even be enjoyed with a slight chill to it.

2018 Chateau Faugeres

Any tried-and-true Bordeaux lover will tell you that finding this level of quality for the price is something that has to be considered, and considered seriously. This is not a wine you want to miss! 
The 2018 Château Faugeres is a Grand Cru Classe Saint-Emilion, perhaps our favorite appellation on the right bank. This is absolutely beautiful and the perfect Bordeaux to stock up on, and can be enjoyed now (as you'll see at the table this weekend) but will also last decades in the cellar!

"An extremely polished Bordeaux with silky tannins that are integrated and creamy-textured. Lots of blueberry and blackberry character. Such pure fruit here. It’s already long and delicious, but has plenty of structure and needs at least four or five years of bottle age. Try after 2024."

"The 2018 Faugères is fabulous. Silky and nuanced, the 2018 is striking right out of the gate. As I noted previously, the 2018 marks a transition to a more finessed style that is hugely appealing. Hints of rose petal, lavender, spice and dark fruits linger on the memorable close. The 2018 is an undeniably sexy wine.

2021 Familia Nin Ortiz Planetes De Nin Classic

Familia Nin-Ortiz continues to blow us away, and we were thrilled to secure a good chunk of their Planetes de Nin Classic bottling!
Planetes de Nin Classic is a well-balanced blend of two different types of Grenache and a touch of Carignan. All the fruit for this wine comes from, not surprisingly, the Finca Les Planetes vineyard.
96 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate at this price point is unheard of, and we can't wait for everyone to try this!

"The 2021 Planetes de Nin Clàssic is a blend of 46% Garnacha, 25% Garnacha Peluda and 29% full-cluster Carignan, the blend they were aiming for and achieved in 2019. The wine has peppery and spicy notes, with a very fine thread and is super elegant on the palate. It's subtle, balanced and elegant, nuanced and insinuating. The wine spent 18 months in 3,200-liter oak foudre. It follows the style of 2019 and 2020. It has 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.2 and 5.4 grams of acidity. 14,660 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023. Drink Date: 2024 - 2034"
