The rosters are set for this week's in-store tastings, so please mark your calendars for an afternoon (or two) of fascinating and fun exploration with fellow wine and spirit lovers and our K&L staff. Please read below for more details on our upcoming events.
In-Store Tastings
Wine Club Member Tasting & Pickup Thursday, March 6th  K&L Wine Club Members—join us on the first Thursday of each month to taste a selection from all six of our wine clubs and pick up your current club shipment. This event is no additional cost for wine club members, plus one additional guest! $5 for non-member walk-ins.

Buried Treasure: Saturday, March 8th  California’s diverse terroir is shaped by its geological history, and marine sedimentary soils play a key role in defining some of its distinctive wines. This tasting explores wines from vineyards rooted in former seabeds, where fossilized shells, sandstone, and calcareous deposits influence the character of each bottle. Vineyards planted in marine sedimentary soils, like the limestone-rich slopes of Mt. Harlan and the calcareous clay loam of Sta. Rita Hills, produce wines with vibrant acidity, refined structure, and layered complexity. This lineup includes grape varieties that can thrive and produce one-of-a-kind expressions in these soils, such as Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon, each offering a unique interpretation of its coastal or inland site.
