K&L Beer Buzz is Back! Michael Pires, K&L Beer Buyer February is here, and SF Beer Week is just around the corner! It's the most exciting time of the year for Double IPA and Triple IPA fans as Russian River Brewing Company releases Younger, and The Bistro in Hayward kicks off their legendary IPA Fest. To celebrate Beer Week, we’ve got some special beers hitting the shelves at both of K&L’s Northern California locations—so keep an eye out! Plus, we're adding a bonus beer tasting at our SF location this month. Get ready for an unforgettable month of brews!

4:00PM-6:00PM — K&L San Francisco Walk-ins are encouraged, but tickets for each store are available in advance.  Join us for a hop-fueled journey through some sought-after craft IPAs. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to taste the legendary “Heady Topper” from The Alchemist! This lineup showcases the full spectrum of IPA styles and features some heavy hitters. Whether you’re a haze fanatic or a West Coast purist, this tasting is your chance to explore the best of both worlds—one sip at a time.
Upcoming Tasting: SF Beer Week: Beers of Belgium Thursday, February 27th | $5 Per Person
4:00PM-6:00PM — K&L San Francisco Walk-ins are encouraged, but tickets for each store are available in advance.  Belgium has long been celebrated for its rich beer heritage, known for producing some of the most distinctive and flavorful styles in the world. From complex saisons and fruity gueuze to rich Belgian blondes and imperial ales, each beer offers a glimpse into the artistry and tradition of Belgian brewing. This tasting showcases a diverse selection from renowned Belgian breweries, offering everything from tart and funky to smooth and malty brews that are sure to delight any craft beer lover.

About this Vermont brewery: "The Alchemist is a family run brewery specializing in fresh, unfiltered IPA. John and Jen Kimmich originally opened The Alchemist as a 60 seat brew pub in the village of Waterbury in 2003. After eight years of success and growing popularity, they decided to open a small production brewery. Today The Alchemist currently operates two breweries in Vermont and distributes Heady Topper and Focal Banger throughout the state." The Focal Banger is one of their year-round production IPAs.
