The rosters are set for this week's in-store tastings, so please mark your calendars for an evening (or two) of fascinating and fun exploration with your fellow wine lovers and our K&L staff. In addition, we regularly host or participate in other special tastings and dinners. Read below for more details on our upcoming schedule of wine and spirits events.
In-Store Tastings
San Francisco: Sake Ono Centuries in a Glass: Château de Beauregard Friday, January 24th  We’re excited to feature a K&L Direct Import in this week’s tasting: six incredible white Burgundies from Château de Beauregard. The Burrier family's winemaking heritage, which dates back to the 15th century in Beaujolais and includes their 1854 acquisition of Château de Beauregard, represents a rich legacy in the region. Now led by the 7th generation and under Frédéric Marc Burrier’s leadership since 1999, the estate has expanded and adopted organic practices. Additionally, as the leader of the union of Pouilly-Fuissé growers, Frédéric’s 12 years of dedicated effort were instrumental in securing the 2020 recognition of 22 Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Crus, several of which are from their vineyards—an achievement that has transformed the region.

New Zealand’s Greats: A Retrospective Tasting Saturday, January 25th  Come in and indulge in a high-end exploration of New Zealand's flagship producers and their signature styles. Our wine buyer, Thomas Smith, will be showcasing a retrospective selection of top NZ wines from different vintages, regions, and producers, allowing you to explore trends, styles, and the evolution of these wines over time.
