Good Morning Sabah People,

Today, we introduce a new metallic offering to our collection: the Santé Sabah, a bright gold that we think hits just right (i.e. not too yellow, a perfect amount of shine, and a lightly pebbled texture). It's from a tannery in Istanbul that specializes in metallics and the difficult foil-printing process required to make this leather soft, yet durable.

We invited our friend, Adrienne Markines, to slip into a pair and join us out for a night in downtown Manhattan... exactly how & where we imagine our Santé Sabah being worn.

Mike Heikkila, a professional skateboard photographer known for his ability to capturing movement, light and energy, joined us to document the evening.

A Night Out with Adrienne.

Adrienne is a Filipino-American textile artist based in NYC, driven by a deep love for craftsmanship and exploration.

Among many things, she's half of the talented duo behind Textile General Store - a highly creative textile studio inspired by fiber colors & craft, each item they offer entirely handmade. We met at our Lunar New Year event, and I was quickly compelled by their product & wonderful spirit! And, of course, I added one of their great hats to my collection.

We found ourselves tucked into a booth at Flower Shop, a Lower East Side bar with a 70's theme, great cocktails, and a lively pool table. Needless to say, it was a great night!

Naturally, we had to ask Adrienne, 'Where to Next?'

Summer!!!!! It's my season of joy. I love spending long, sun-soaked days exploring the city, indulging in great food, and catching the sunset before dinner.

She told us.

More Metallic!

With the last of our beloved Cin Cin leather, we decided to make a run of Babas -- our first-ever using this leather and a one & done, limited to just 100 pairs. Cheers!
