Good Evening Sabah People,

I'm writing y'all from the backyard of Little Sabah Austin where we just hosted a couple days of music, drinks and makers with our neighbors imogene + willie. Big thanks to them for putting together such a killer line up on Friday.

It was a funnnnnn weekend... I mean it's hard NOT to have a good time in Austin. Highlights for me: Grace Bowers and Ken Pomeroy's Friday performances in our backyard; so many great reactions to our Patmos Baba (one of our bestsellers over the weekend); finally getting myself a pair of tailored Clarke pants by imogene; Jason Scott & The High Heat's SxSW Showcase; eating the delicious HSC cheeseburger under the oaktree at Hotel Saint Cecilia; and, of course, getting to spend time with our hospitable & vibrant Sabah Austin team - what a great crew.

We make Babas for Hotel Saint Cecilia, inspired by their signature blue.

Woven in Blue.

We’ve worked with leather artisans in Chennai, India to intricately weave a vibrant blue vegetable tanned leather into uppers, each then burnished by hand to give them a resilient & beautiful finish. Transported to El Paso, there, in our workshop, we crafted these uppers into Babas as part of our Collector’s Series.
