Whether it is a new allocation or an old favorite, below you will find our most recent additions to the diverse selection at K&L Wine Merchants. We receive new opportunities weekly, from direct imports to local distributors to carefully inspected back-vintage collections—read on for the best of this week's discoveries. Speaking of new discoveries, there's no better place to find them than in person at one of our weekly in-store tastings. Please see our Local Events page on the K&L website to view this week's tasting schedule.
Here is our full list of items that are Back in Stock. Here you can browse all our recent additions on the website. The 2021 Melville "Terraces - Estate" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (Elsewhere $80) is the epitome of micro-production, single-vineyard Pinot from a Central Coast reference-point estate. Sourced from three small blocks of Melville's estate vineyard, the Terraces offers up a beguiling profile of contrasts, with ripe, intense fruit countered against bright, racy structure that earned the wine triple 95-point scores from Wine Advocate, Vinous, and Wine Enthusiast. Pair those accolades with an Insider's price well-below the winery release, and you've got a surefire winner. Newly arrived in stock, the 2021 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana is the 50th anniversary vintage of this Tuscan legend, so it's very fitting that it has already notched a pair of 98-point scores from Vinous' Antonio Galloni and Wine Advocate's Monica Larner. Galloni sums it up nicely in writing, "Silky and polished, with exceptional finesse, the 2021 has all the pedigree to become a modern benchmark for Tignanello and Italian wine more broadly." Tignanello's legions of fans won't want to miss a rendition that is very special in so many ways. A new parcel of the 2016 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (Pre-Arrival) comes in at sharp pricing and offers collectors the chance to reload on a JD100 Super Second that makes the absolute most of this legendary campaign. With elite accolades across the board, the 2016 is an all-time great Ducru that Dunnuck compares to the 2010 and Galloni calls "one of the wines of the vintage."
