The last two barrels of Lasgraves in existence...
This secretive estate has become the darling of Armagnac lovers since its closure in the early 2000s. The stocks were purchased by the prominent Armagnac bottler, L'Encantada, and sold for many years as Domaine Le Freche. L'Encantada did not buy the brand name and felt it was not fair to include the domaine's good name on their bottlings. The domaine's own bottlings had become very sought-after since the sale of the stocks made the label nearly impossible to find. Now, the last two known barrels in existence from this famous estate are for sale. We've been incredibly lucky to have access to these incredible barrels exclusively. No other shop in the entire world will offer this exceptional brandy. Each barrel was distilled in the same manner as a previous 1989 release, and they represent some of the finest possible stocks of brandy anywhere in the world.

K&L Notes: Few spirits have been the subject of more intrigue and controversey than the exceptional brandy made at Domaine de Lasgraves. This small operation from a prominent family in the region was long prized by aficiandos but did not gain wider acclaim until the exceptional L'Encantada purchased the last of their stocks, or so they thought. Because L'Encantada has not purchased the rights to the brand name, they were extremely careful not to divulge the source of this widely acclaimed brandy. In fact, they went so far as to call it Le Freche, when in fact it was not at all made in that famous town. But thanks to some internet sleuths, the brandy nerds of the world were able to identify the source of this incredible product. It took our spirits buyers over two years to get in contact with the owners of the estate, who in fact had three barrels remaining. This is the final barreled stock of one of the highest quality Armagnac estates. Sadly the family moved away from production after 2002. These truly legendary stocks will be the prized possession anyone who gets a taste of the heady elixir. Only 300 bottles of each available.
