BlackStar Film Festival

August 1-4 in Philadelphia, PA

This week is the 2024 BlackStar Film Festival! It’s the festival’s 13th annual celebration of the visual and storytelling traditions of Black, Brown and Indigenous people from around the world. You can catch Natalie Jasmine Harris’s Kickstarted short film Grace. You can also find previous Creators Darius Clark Monroe, Alexandra Lazarowich, and Fawzia Mirza who’ll be at the festival presenting new work.
