This traditional Shropshire is made at Hartington Creamery from local Derbyshire milk.
It has a pretty orange colour from annatto, a natural colorant that contrasts with the blue marbling. The rind is natural. The cheese is ripened for 8 to 9 weeks for a very creamy result. This is a mild, tart blue.
It’s an excellent cheese to crumble in salads, eat with figs or other fruit, or savour with port or red wine.
It won the silver medal at the Virtual Cheese Awards 2021.

Pinot Noir is the first thing that pops into our heads when trying to pair wines with typical Easter fare, and the Wrath Lemoravo Vineyard is the perfect option!
The Lemoravo Vineyard sits at 400 feet above the Salinas Valley floor, on the eastern slopes of the Santa Lucia Highlands. The name "Lemoravo" comes from the other 3 crops grown there: Lemons, Oranges and Avocados.
Bright fruit is the star of the show here, but then come subtle floral nuances and a touch of wood. This is Pinot Noir at its finest, and all of your guests will be asking, "Where did you get this?"
