Good Morning Sabah People,

Last Saturday, we released our Mérida Collection with two colorways anchoring the concept: our Guava & Ermita Babas.

Both of these Babas are part of our El Paso Collector's Series whereby we combine rare craft techniques from around the world with the skills of our talented El Paso shoemakers. Each pair is numbered & dated to indicate its exclusivity.

In this instance, we've worked with artisans in Spain to weave together colorful leathers into totally original checkered & wave patterns. They're unlike anything we've done before.

Both are made in limited quantities; a single production run that won't last long.

Our Gauva Baba combines two tones of pink into a unique checkered pattern of smaller & larger criss-crossing strips of leather.

Not a simple pattern to weave, nor to form into a Baba, each pair takes extra care & precision in the production.

The beauty of these woven Babas is not only in their appearance, but in how they feel -- super comfortable. Woven leathers move with your feet and take their form in a way that's quite remarkable.

Our Ermita Baba combines a navy & cream leather into a really eye-catching wave pattern making them a perfect pair to weave your way through summer. We imagine wearing these for seaside lunch, or dressed up for sunset drinks & dinner.

In production in our El Paso workshop, every pair is embossed on the sole with month & year of production as well as series # within the larger batch.

As you can imagine, this weave really moves in a special way with every step.

We are excited to see a few of these pairs really beautifully broken in.
