the waitlist for our next release: the Limited Edition Pakkawood Fillet Knife.
Growing up in Massachusetts, I’ve always enjoyed prepping and cooking fresh seafood. And as anyone who’s broken down a fish (or watched it done) knows, having the right knives make all the difference.
When designing this knife, I focused on three key features:
- Custom Blade: Crafted with our 5th generation bladesmith, the fully custom blade features a longer bottom edge for effortless filleting and a flexible curve to navigate around bones with ease.
- Premium Pakkawood Handle: We chose Pakkawood, a durable blend of natural wood and resin, for its premium look and lasting durability. It offers an elegant aesthetic with the practicality of easy cleaning.
- Versatile Design: Whether you're filleting a fresh catch or prepping fish from the supermarket, this knife is incredibly versatile. It’s perfect for skinning fish, portioning meat, and even trimming vegetables.
As with all of our Limited Edition blades, each knife is individually numbered (1–1000), and each handle features a unique pattern, making your Pakkawood Fillet Knife truly one-of-a-kind.
