9th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join Los Angeles Union Station and celebrate the holiday season with the 9th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony taking place on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Ticket Concourse. 

 

Enjoy live musical performances by Kingston Ska Orchestra and Los Rebeldes Romanticos presented by Metro Art. 

 

Gather with special guests from the North Pole for the lighting of the signature 30-foot tree in the historic Ticket Concourse – marking the first time this section of the station will be open to the public throughout the holiday season. 

 

Get into the holiday spirit with family-friendly activities including photos with Santa in the Waiting Room.  

 

Visit the North Patio which will transform into the North Pole for families to enjoy arts and crafts, milk and cookies, holiday characters and more, courtesy of McDonald’s of Southern California.

Cooking With José Andrés And The Written Hand in Hollywood – Here’s What’s Popping Up

San Laurel is kicking off the holidays with a special evening featuring world-famous chef  José Andrés and his team at the Conrad Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, Nov. 19.  The evening includes passed seasonal bites, hand-carved jamón, curated cocktails, and a live paella station on San Laurel’s terrace with views of Walt Disney Concert Hall. Tickets are $295.

 

Written Hand is the latest culinary pop-up transforming the Ever Bar at Kimpton Everly Hollywood. The Mediterranean-inspired dining experience led by Executive Chef Ashley Thompson and mixologist Naomi Schimek, features a dramatic grilled bluefin tuna collar with harissa rub, tableside sherry and vermouth service, and cocktails like the evaporative infusion limoncello with suspended Meyer lemons.
