The West Coast premiere of Megan Gogerty’s FEAST. is a vivid reimagining of the epic poem Beowulf as a cautionary tale against the rising forces of authoritarianism. When Grendel’s mother throws a dinner party to seek justice for her son’s murder, she must confront her own guilt and rage. FEAST. is presented with an actual ‘feast,’ of charcuterie and themed drinks. Runs March 8 through April 6, at The Count’s Den in downtown Los Angeles.
