2020 Long Shadows "Feather" Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($69.95) "World-class and devastatingly beautiful ... run, don't walk to add this to your cellar." — Wine Advocate Long Shadows, a pioneering venture in Washington, collaborates with globally acclaimed winemakers to produce collector-worthy wines. The project features luminaries like Philippe Melka, John Duval (of Penfolds fame), Michel Rolland, and the esteemed Randy Dunn, who crafted this Cabernet. Dunn, renowned for his robust, age-worthy Howell Mountain Cabernets, brings his expertise to the 2020 Feather. This wine exhibits the hallmarks of Dunn's style: power, structure, and intensity. Sourced from premier vineyards (Dionysus, Bacchus, and Sagemoor) across Walla Walla, Wahluke Slope, and Horse Heaven Hills, the wine matures for 22 months in 85% new French oak. This Cabernet stands out as the year's top selling Washington red.
