Musk violated US immigration laws: Report

South African-born billionaire Elon Musk — recently dubbed "X's biggest promoter of anti-immigrant conspiracies" — worked illegally in the US while building a startup tech company during the 1990s, according to a report in the Washington Post. Musk arrived in Palo Alto, California, in 1995 to pursue a graduate degree at Stanford University but never enrolled and instead began building the company that became Zip2, which sold for about $300 million in 1999. Legal experts told the Post that abandoning his studies meant Musk, now the world's wealthiest person, didn't have a legal basis to remain in the U.S.

Michelle Obama joins Harris campaign trail

Michelle Obama delivered a stinging critique of Donald Trump at a rally in Michigan Saturday with Kamala Harris, labeling the former president an existential threat to women's rights. She urged men to recognize that voting for Trump "is a vote against us." She asked the men in the packed audience a pointed questions: "So fellas, before you cast your votes, ask yourselves: What side of history do you want to be on?" The former first lady called to Harris a "dear friend " and called on voters to place "a grownup" in the White House, not a second Trump term.

Ohtani set to play in World Series' Game 3

Global superstar Shohei Ohtani's participation in Monday's Game 3 of the World Series will be a matter of pain tolerance according to Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who fully expects him to play. It wasn't quite the decisive "He's playing tomorrow" message that Roberts sent ESPN in a text, but the manager sounded confident that Ohtani, who suffered a partially dislocated left shoulder in Game 2 on Saturday, would be good to go. Ohtani was hurt as he attempted to steal second base in the seventh inning of the Dodgers' 4-2 victory.
