Europe's new Ariane 6 rocket successfully blasted off for the first time on Tuesday, releasing satellites into orbit and restoring the continent's independent access to space. European space efforts have suffered a series of blows, including four years of delays to Ariane 6, that have robbed the continent of its own way to launch missions into space for the past year. Senate seeks bill to test Trump immunity

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Senate Democrats will push forward with a legislation aimed at revoking the immunity granted to former President Donald Trump under a recent Supreme Court decision. Schumer, leveraging Congress's authority to regulate the judiciary, said that Democrats are developing a bill to reclassify Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election results as "unofficial acts."

Disney expanding its cruise fleet to Japan

The Walt Disney Company revealed Tuesday its plans to add another vessel to its fleet of cruise ships, and this time around the new ship will be sailing from Tokyo. The new ship, which will be modeled after the largest vessel in Disney's fleet, the Wish, is a part of the company's $60 billion, 10-year-expansion plan, that will include the company's cruise business and theme parks. The projected launch is in 2028.
