Iran, allies vow coordinated attack on Israel

Iran and armed groups backed by it are preparing coordinated action meant to deter Israel but avert all-out war, sources and analysts said, after the killings of top Hamas and Hezbollah figures. Iranian officials met in Tehran with representatives of the so-called "Axis of Resistance" -- a loose alliance of Tehran-backed groups hostile to Israel -- to discuss retaliation for the deaths of Hamas's leader and Hezbollah's top military commander, said a source close to Lebanese group. The word comes after Israeli attacks killed key officials in Iran and Lebanon.

Harris counters Trump's words about race

Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic election nominee, hit back at former President Donald Trump after the latter mocked her heritage. Trump claimed that Harris was "always of Indian heritage" and then "happened to turn Black" during an interview. Harris, who has both Indian and African American heritage, is a graduate of Howard University, a historically Black university. She called Trump's comments divisive and disrespectful, while calling for unity in leadership.

Taco Bell turning to AI-powered drive-thrus

Taco Bell patrons will have to deal with AI drive-thrus by the end of the year, as the company plans to implement this technology at hundreds of its restaurants. Yum Brands announced that it plans to expand the rollout of artificial intelligence technology in the U.S. as part of its global strategy. The company says AI technology has improved the accuracy of orders, reduced wait times, and decreased employee workloads.
