Warren Buffett Splashes $185 Million For 1 Million Shares Of This Leading Aerospace Company In Q2

Warren Buffett, the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, made significant investments in the second quarter, purchasing 1.04 million Class A shares of Heico Corporation for $185.37 million. Heico operates in two main segments: the Flight Support Group (FSG) and the Electronic Technologies Group (ETG), with most of its revenue coming from the FSG segment. FSG specializes in providing premium aftermarket parts and repair solutions to airlines globally, while ETG designs and develops electrical components and systems for various high-tech applications, including aerospace and defense.

Heico reported record financial results for the quarter ending April 30, with notable increases in net income, net sales, and operating income. The FSG segment saw its 15th consecutive quarter of net sales growth, with a 39% increase to a record $955.4 million, attributed to acquisitions and high demand for its aerospace and defense products.
