Tech billionaire Elon Musk has contributed $75 million to his pro-Trump America PAC over three months, making him one of the biggest donors to the Republican campaign, campaign finance records show. The X owner's filing with the Federal Election Commission shows America PAC spent millions from July to September to drive voter turnout to Trump in critical states. In July, Musk poured in $14.95 million to the super PAC. In August, he added $30 million and another $30 million in September

A new study shows that American consumers plan on spending less money on Halloween this year due to inflation. The survey polled 2,000 consumers based in the US, and the results are telling: 59% of Halloween shoppers plan to forgo any purchases towards the holiday including decorations (30%), candy (28%), and party supplies (23%). There are also discrepancies between age groups in the study, specifically millennials and Gen Zers.

Arizona court unseals Gallego divorce case

Arizona's Supreme Court sided with Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake on Wednesday in ruling that court records from the 2016 divorce of her Democratic opponent, Rep. Ruben Gallego, and his ex-wife, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, be unsealed. In a political fight that saw both Gallegos plead their cases, the state's highest court agreed with Lake's argument that the case is a matter of public record. Lake trails in the polls but could get a boost when the redacted versions of the court filing are released ahead of the Nov. 8 election.

One Direction's Liam Payne falls to his death

Liam Payne, 31, a former member of the pop group One Direction, died Wednesday after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina, according to multiple reports. Argentine police were called to the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires for a report of an "aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol." When police arrived they found Payne after he had apparently fallen from a balcony to his death.
