When school lets out for the summer, millions of kids who receive free or reduced-price school breakfasts and lunches lose access to these reliable meals. And that means families with kids have to make room in already tight budgets to fill in the gaps.
Make a gift today to help get meals to kids and families experiencing hunger, this summer and beyond. And when you make your gift now, it will be matched, up to $500,000, thanks to a challenge match from pop-culture retailer BoxLunch.

Ms. Lam and Ms. Gong first heard about the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, a Feeding America network partner, years ago from their neighbors in their senior housing complex.
Having faced food insecurity as children growing up in Guangzhou, China, and as older adults in San Francisco, the two friends are excited by the selection at the pantry.
“They provide everything that I need, and I can easily use Cantonese ingredients to make dishes that I like,” Ms. Lam said.
