Spring has arrived—and so has
Cofactor! Our advanced 4-in-1 collagen system for skin, hair, nails, and more, launched to the public on March 12, and you can save up to 20% through April 11. Get the biggest savings with the
Skin Longevity Bundle (Cofactor + Mosaic), a duo that supercharges your collagen system so you can promote collagen synthesis and protect your collagen from degradation. The other major news this month comes from
The Wall Street Journal, which ran a feature profile about Elysium and our chief scientist Leonard Guarente, Ph.D., a
“grandfather of the booming longevity movement.” We’re thrilled that longevity science is in the spotlight, and especially to see Dr. Guarente’s pioneering research chronicled in one of the world’s most important newspapers.
Also in the March newsletter:
VOGUE and
Women’s Health editors recommend
Basis and Elysium chief scientist Dr. Guarente and CEO Eric Marcotulli sit down with Cheddar to talk about Elysium’s commitment to clinical research.

In
The Wall Street Journal, Amy Dockser Marcus explores the booming field of longevity science with a profile of Elysium chief scientist
Leonard Guarente, Ph.D., referring to him as the grandfather of the longevity movement.
“Top science journals have published his discoveries about genes,” she writes.
“He is an architect of one of the field’s biggest ideas, has trained its most influential scientists and helped create the company behind a suite of popular supplements.” The article chronicles Dr. Guarente’s early life, his research on sirtuins and NAD+ at MIT, and the development of Elysium to bring clinically-proven longevity breakthroughs out of the lab—and directly to the growing longevity community. Along with Dr. Guarente, Marcus speaks with CEO Eric Marcotulli; Scientific Advisory Board member A. David Smith, DPhil; Eric Verdin, M.D., CEO and president of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging; NAD+ researcher Jonas T. Treebak, Ph.D.; two former students in Dr. Guarente’s lab; and other prominent voices in the field.

interviews Elysium:
“In the next decade, everyone will be taking an NAD+ boosting product.”
|
|

What sets Elysium Health apart from other longevity brands? In a word: science.
“We have human trials as the bedrock, and we publish the results from the human trials in good journals,” Elysium chief scientist and renowned longevity researcher Leonard Guarente, Ph.D., said during a recent segment on Cheddar. He was joined by Elysium CEO
Eric Marcotulli as they explained the science behind sirtuins, NAD+ boosters, and biological age tests—taking viewers through Elysium’s portfolio of novel products, including
Basis,
Signal,
Vision,
Mosaic,
Matter, and
Index.
“Real longevity technology and science is here,” said Marcotulli.
“It's no longer snake oil or the fountain of youth—it’s real, clinically demonstrated products that are safe and accessible. I truly believe that in the next decade, NAD+ will be in everyone’s homes the same way multivitamins, statins, vitamin D, and omega-3s are today.”

asks,
“Is NAD+ the secret to reversing skin aging?”
|
|
|
Elysium chief scientist and co-founder Leonard Guarente, Ph.D., was featured in a recent
Women’s Health article exploring the “supplement golden child” NAD+ and its effects on aging. The article cites
research showing that NAD+ drops by almost 60% in the skin and between 10% and 25% in the brain as we age. Dr. Guarente discusses NAD+ precursors nicotinamide riboside (NR), found in
Basis, and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), found in
Signal. Research has shown that NAD+ precursors support collagen and ceramide production and improve the skin barrier.
“NR can get into cells where it’s then converted into NAD+,” Dr. Guarente says.
“You’re essentially giving cells the building blocks to make more NAD+.” The article says to skip NAD+ infusions and topical skincare with the molecule, which lack clinical research to support their claims.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
|
“I turned 70 this year and recently incorporated Elysium Health's
MOSAIC into my daily stack of supplements to counter the effects of aging. Thus far, I have noticed an improvement in the overall texture and appearance of my skin. I’ve been using other Elysium products for well over a year now and am always pleased with the quality of their products, and the customer service has been superior. Highly recommend!”
