In running this business, I constantly find myself looking toward the future and working to solve the problems we are facing.
It can become an overwhelming feeling when it seems like the problems are endless. And, well, they are. But that doesn’t mean I can’t look back at all that has been built with gratitude.
We’ve been tested with misaligned partnerships and finding the right partners these past years. I am grateful that this year, we’ve established better relationships with great manufacturers and a great warehouse. Those operational changes contributed to extended out-of-stock periods for several of our key products.
There are two products left that have been victims of operational change — the deodorant and our fine fragrance.
Well, the good news is that the deodorant is being re-launched on Cyber Monday as a brand-new, innovative product.
Alliance members have been testing the various prototypes over the past year, and we’ve refined the product to work amazingly well. I’m excited for y’all to try it.
Our pre-launch for the Utility Trimmer has also gone to plan. As I write this email, they have arrived in port and are on their way to our warehouse. Expect those to ship out very soon.
There’s still work left to do, and that’s why we show up every day. Twelve years in, I’m very proud of what we’ve built, the customers we serve, and the way we’ve helped shape the world.
Beardbrand is such an amazing company and brand. It’s had its challenges, but will always persevere through adversity. I’m grateful to be part of it, and work alongside amazing team members.
I’m incredibly grateful for our customers and fans. The guys who come into the barbershop are always so cool, confident, and (frankly) good-looking. Y’all know the value of self-investment, and that confidence rubs off on those around.
As always, thank you for everything. I’m glad you discovered Beardbrand, and I’m glad you care about investing in yourself. Happy Thanksgiving!
