If you were to read any marketing, advertising, or copywriting book published in the past five years, it would give you all of the following tips:
• Make bold promises about how your products will instantly make people’s lives better.
• Showing drastic before and after transformations.
• Write in one-sentence paragraphs because people hate to read.
There’s some validity in these tips, and we would probably sell a lot more products if we marketed like this. Oh well.
Here’s the thing — using Beardbrand products will not instantly improve your life. It won’t instantly make you feel more masculine. It won’t instantly help you get the girl or anyone that you’re hoping to attract. And it definitely won’t make you a better father, son, brother, husband, partner, friend, employee, boss, or community member.
