Andie turns 8 today 🎂

A lot can happen in 8 years ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏

Hi there,

Eight years ago today, I launched Andie from my apartment.

I didn’t know if it would work. I just knew swimwear needed a reset—something well-made, fairly priced, and designed to actually fit. I had a few hundred swimsuits, hangtags my mom helped attach, and a dog supervising our first-ever packaging run.

In the beginning we packed orders in my living room. We built our fit process by listening closely to our earliest customers. And now even as we’ve grown, we’ve never let go of that hands-on, heart-in approach.

From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a brand worn by over a million women around the world. We’ve collaborated with women we admire—like Demi Moore and Mindy Kaling. We’ve opened a flagship store, expanded into new categories, and most importantly: kept showing up for our customers.

I never imagined I’d be building a company through a global pandemic. Through a recession. Through multiple wars. And now, a still-unfolding tariff situation that’s made running a small business even harder.

But here we are.

Somewhere along the way, I also became a mom—twice!

Running Andie has been one of the most intense and meaningful experiences of my life. I've learned more than I ever thought possible. And I’m still learning every day.

We have so much more in store. Some very big things are coming (stay tuned 👀). Just know: we’re dreaming even bigger.
