Chianti Colli Senesi just may be the most significant subzone of Chianti. It's located in the rolling hills surrounding Siena and overlaps some of Italy's most famous winemaking regions such as Montalcino and Montepulciano.
The Borgo alla Terra is 90% Sangiovese with 10% Canaiolo and is unapologetically easy-drinking. Think bright forward fruit with a little bit of spice while maintaining the rustic charm we've come to love from Chianti.
