This bone-dry Riesling will blow you away! Wildly refreshing and the perfect white wine for the Fall!
Australia's Clare Valley is quickly becoming one of the top-growing regions to produce fantastic Riesling and this bottling from the Polish Hill River is one of our favorites!
Founded by Neil and Alison Paulett and now led by their son Matt, Pauletts has been family-owned and operated since its founding in 1983. All of the fruit comes from their vineyards and Riesling is their specialty!
The Polish Hill River is perfectly suited for Riesling. The minerality and natural acidity of the soil combined with good winter rains, hot summer days tempered by cool nights and a long ripening period consistently produce grapes with exceptionally bright flavors and balance.
This is the perfect dry white for any Fall occasion and everyone needs to stock up! Don't miss out on this because once it's gone, it's gone!
"Very light straw-yellow with a whiff of minerally edginess, dried herbs and dried flowers, a faint suggestion of acetone, then a lemon-juicy palate that is generous and expansive at the same time as it retains its tautness and youthful reserve. There's a mandarin-like juiciness on the back-palate and finish, the aftertaste cleansingly dry. In all, a really delicious riesling that is already highly enjoyable and has a bright future." - 96 Points The Real Review
