Domaine du Pegau is an undeniable superstar in Châteauneuf du Pape and their flagship Cuvée Reservée is a must-have for all collectors and Rhône fans!

Representing the third and fourth generations, the father-daughter duo of Paul and Laurence Féraud run the show at one of Chateauneuf du Pape's greatest estates: Domaine du Pegau. They are masters at growing Grenache in the diverse and varied soils of the AOC, and the fruit they produce from their vines is nothing short of epic.

Pound-for-pound, you will not find a better - or more consistent - value in all of France than Pegau's Cuvée Reservée.

2022 is considered a great vintage in the southern Rhône but was particularly exceptional for one grape in particular, Grenache! This is on full display with this masterful blend of mostly Grenache (80%) and a staggering 12 other grape varieties.

Cuvée Reservée is luxuriously velvety and packed with loads of red and black fruit leading into complex spice and classic garrigue notes. An ideal Chateauneuf du Pape that will simply blow you away!

Grab as much of this as you can as it is drinking beautifully right now but will also age gracefully in the cellar for 20+ years!

Reminding me slightly of a more elegant, less concentrated example of the 2009, it has full-bodied richness, a broad, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish.
