This shockingly good Rosé will blow you away! The perfect bottle for all of your warm-weather activities!
The Tantini family has owned their farm for more than 100 years but it wasn't until this century that Giovanna Tantini began bottling the wines. Their vineyards are located in one of the most prestigious growing areas in Bardolino, just south of Lake Garda; and these vineyards are overseen by famed vineyard manager Federico Curtaz who previously managed the vineyards for Angelo Gaja (yes, that Gaja)!
The grapes used in this Rosé are mostly Corvina and Rondinella, the same varieties used in Bardolino's inland neighbor Valpolicella. This combo comes together to create a wonderfully crunchy and crisp Rosé that will leave you amazed and begging for another sip!
We tasted through a lot of Rosés this past Spring and this was right up there with the best of them. The fact that this quality of wine is under $15 is still blowing our minds.
Grab this while you can and make it your Summer staple!
"This rosé is fun yet serious. It opens with crunch and vibrant tart cherries and pomegranate notes with subtle herbal hints in the background. The palate is light and lifted yet complex with a salty and peppery finish. -JP" - 93 Points Wine Enthusiast
"This crunchy Chiaretto, the result of the separate vinification of Corvina, Rondinella and (traces of) Molinara, is born among the majestic moraines south of the lake. Ageing in stainless steel tanks at 8°C for six months gives delicate notes of red fruits, soft and tasty, enlivened by hints of pepper and aromatic herbs for a harmonious sip." - 92 Points Decanter
