The final scores are in for the 2016 release from Chateau Pontet-Canet and they are good, really, really good - multiple 98+ ratings and a 100 point score from Wine Enthusiast! Powerful and lush, this release features everything the renowned Pauillac estate is known for. It is expressive and opulent, with notes of dark fruit and licorice laced with warm spice and a touch of graphite. We'd expect no less than excellence from Alfred Tesseron's biodynamically grown vineyards, of course.

The 2016 vintage consists of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and touches of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, offering plenty of complexity, structure, and excellent depth. It’s just barely entering its prime drinking window; patient collectors will enjoy it over the next four decades, at least! Don't miss the chance to add this stunning Bordeaux to your cellar!
