Good Morning Sabah People,

Introducing our signature scent, Sabah Bois, in slow burn form: The Bois Candle.

We developed this candle with master perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux, and renowned fragrance designer, Carlos Huber, with the same intention & care as the Bois Eau de Parfum.

We've sourced the finest ingredients from around the world to then be blended, hand-poured & packaged in the USA. Filled with a proprietary soy wax blend that burns slow & clean, this helps fill your entire space with subtle aromas & personality. For the vessel, we've used a blown glass tumbler with a translucent amber coating, which diffuses the candlelight inside the container for a softer glow. The tumbler can be reused for cocktails or as a general container.

Featuring notes of leather, patchouli, nutmeg, frankincense and desert sage, this candle is a global melange of our favorite scents from East to West. Topped with notes of cypress, wild thyme & balsam fir, the Bois Candle will fill your space like a bonfire in a desert dream - setting the tone for whatever the day or evening may bring. Enjoy!

Meet the Bois Candle.

We asked Carlos to tell us about the translation of Bois from perfume to candle.

"To translate the notes from eau de parfum into candle, we looked long and hard at the formula to understand which ingredients would burn well and which wouldn't be recognized. There's a lot of work in creating a scented candle that people don't realize, as some notes won't come off in the same way as they do on skin, so you need to rework the formula."

He continued: "For Bois the candle, I wanted the impression of a live bonfire, truly feeling transported, smelling the smoked sage, the aromatic notes of the forest and the warm spices."

Introducing the Bolo — handmade in El Paso, Texas to be worn the world over. We’ve added a double stacked heel on a more refined, sleeker silhouette so they can be worn from the finest soirées and then the next day out on the town. We’ve made just 200 pairs for our initial production run. Enjoy!

We're hitting the road again this Fall. Our first stop will be Charlotte, NC where we're setting up shop with Tabor from October 4-13.

From there, we head south to Charleston -- find us from October 17-19 at Basic Kitchen.
