1. Set Realistic Goals |
|
So maybe the first week, if you're just starting out, you're going to say, I'm just going to get out and do one run this week. Next week, it's two runs. Something that you can build off of that'll work you toward your bigger goal. Second tip to hold yourself accountable. |

2. Have a Buddy |
|
It's very easy to just push off the run to the next day. Find an accountability buddy, even if they're doing just one mile with you. Having someone that will help motivate you is going to help you stay focused and it's going to make it a little bit more fun. |

3. Give Yourself Grace |
|
Not every run is going to feel the same. Some days you're going to get out there and you're going to feel like a million bucks. Other days it's going to be really hard just to get one foot going and you just kind of have to embrace that. |
