“Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.”
Kurt Vonnegut
Hello sweet friends đź’•
I wanted to share a personal update with all of you, which is that on January 13, 2024, I married my absolute best friend. Our wedding was everything I’d ever hoped for and more; and as I was writing my wedding vows, I reflected on something I hear all the time at Eterneva:
…it’s the little things that people miss most about their loved ones.
For myself and my husband, James, those “little things” are:
How you make me laugh on a daily basis… How you pull me over to your side to make me cuddle you before I get out of bed… How your eyes light up and you literally giggle when you rev the engine of a supercar… How you can really rock a lederhosen… How you’ll say, “I still like you” out of the blue…
I’m grateful for the reminder to be present while these “little things” are happening and to be able to cherish them. With today being Valentine’s Day, what better time to remind our loved ones, “I still like you,” or surprise them with small gestures that make a big impact. And if the love of your life has passed away, perhaps you want to celebrate their life by growing an Eterneva Diamond that captures all the little things that made them remarkable.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with me. Please check out the rest of our newsletter, filled with heartwarming stories and some wonderful resources about grief, love, and how you can find comfort—and even joy—throughout your Diamond Journey.
With warmth & brightness,

How much carbon is in cremated ashes?
Lab-grown diamond creation requires high-purity carbon, which is typically sourced from graphite. However, using precise scientific processes, the carbon from cremated ashes can be purified and converted to graphite, which can then be used to grow a beautiful diamond—all from just a half cup of ashes! Keep reading to discover how the process works.

Eterneva Spotlight: Candice
This month, we’re shining a light on Candice. As our Sales Specialist, Candice offers support to prospective customers who come to us through our funeral home partners. She’s a listening ear and a wealth of knowledge to anyone who expresses interest in celebrating their loved one with an Eterneva Diamond. When they choose to move forward, she guides them through the steps of beginning the Diamond Journey in a way that feels empowering.
“There are so many moving parts,” she shares about the process. “We all work together as a team to get each Diamond launched and returned home. There’s so much care and energy
that goes into it. The Diamond Journey is symbolic of grief, in that way. When there’s a loss, all kinds of loss, it’s the support of the people around us who give us space to share, feel, and connect that actually gets us to the other side. No one can do it alone.”
In her free time, Candice enjoys playing tourist in her hometown, making art, finding weird desserts, and catching up with friends who share her excitement for life!
“I haven’t been surrounded by a more caring and courageous bunch! The jokes, the daring to dream about Eterneva’s goals, the generosity, the trust, the authenticity. I am grateful for it all.”
