Hi friends,

When I started Bite, I was an ocean-loving surf instructor who had a big problem with the billion+ plastic toothpaste tubes that were ending up in our landfills and oceans every year.

After seeing more and more plastic wash up on my surfboard, I decided to try making the first Bite Toothpaste Bits in my living room in 2018. We were the first-ever to put toothpaste tablets in a refillable subscription system — which helps cut carbon emissions and is more convenient since they’re shipped right to your door — and we continue to set the standard in the sustainable personal care space today.

From becoming a certified B Corp to creating an entirely plastic-free personal care line with the help of dentists and skincare experts, it’s been my personal passion and privilege to keep the Earth first in everything we do — and we couldn’t have done any of it without you.

Since 2018, we’ve helped eliminate over 250,000 lbs of plastic from oceans and landfills, and donated over half a million dollars to nonprofits that are also helping protect our planet.
